Anyone who knows me would tell you that I’m an extrovert, through and through. I can make friends anywhere I go. I get that from my mom.
Because of that, I’m more than happy to walk up to an event solo. I know that it’s just a matter of time until I find someone to do the event with.
One of the things Sean always tells people at the start of a race is this: ‘Look at the Mudder to the left and to the right of you. Those are your teammates out there on course.’
And it’s the truth. No one is ever alone on course.
